MINNESOTA TWINS 1965 WORLD SERIES pottery ashtray.  Made in 1965 by the famous Red Wing Pottery Company.  The ashtray has two bowls, connected by a ridged cigarette holder between them.  The left side has a globe with "1965 World Series" written in the center.  The right side has raised image of the old Twins logo with the Minneapolis and Saint Paul 'Twins' shaking hands over the river, with a baseball in the background, all in the outline of the State of Minnesota.  In addition, it reads Minnesota Twins 1965 American League Champions.  Fully marked on the base.  Large and heavy.  approx. 12.75" long by 6.75" by 2" high.  High glazed finish, mottled green and brown.  Unused.  On the base, near one of the "white" kiln marks, there is a 1" long hairline scratch in the glaze.  Other than that, there are no cracks, no chips, no repairs, no flaws.  Near mint plus to mint condition.  349.50

Hartland.  Milwaukee Braves HANK AARON.  Original circa late 1950's vintage statue.  This is the very early production "hi-step" variation.   He does stand, but a bit precariously, NOT very flat footed.  Complete with original bat.  Colors are bright and crisp, uniform is white.  The red stripe down the outside of his left leg is weak in the central area, more a factory painting flaw than from wear.    Very minimal rub on the back edge of each heel.  Pinhead size rub on the inside of his left elbow.  No cracks, no chips, no stains or discoloration.  No scratches, no repairs, no flaws. C-9.5 near mint figure!  295.00

scarce set of 3 LARGE BASEBALL ELVES.  The batter is wearing green uniform, the pitcher and catcher are red with gold trim.  1950's. made in Japan.  Very impressive 6.5" tall.  do not  confuse this with the smaller version - which is also a hard to find set.  These large ones are damn near impossible to find!  Uniform paint is "cold glazed" (painted on top of glazed finish) - which tends to flake easily.  there is some minimal paint wear.  NO cracks or chips.  Overall excellent plus with minor paint wear.  An extremely attractive and scarce set.  SET OF 3 for:  295.00

BASEBALL KID.  6" tall rubber squeak toy.  White uniform, red hat and red trim.  1970's vintage, made in Taiwan.  Blond hair, holds ball and glove.  NOT a common piece.  excellent with normal play wear.  45.00
