1920's IVES TRAINS pinback button.  approx. 1" diameter, black and white on gold.  Beautiful celluloid pinback button. Pictures a Steam Locomotive trains and says MEMBER IVES RAILWAY LINES. All this on a luscious gold background. There are no chips, no crack, no splits, no stains, no foxing. Displays magnificently. Guaranteed 100% original and vintage. Lionel 6430.  TRAILER FLAT CAR.  1956-58 issue.  Variation B: WHITE trailers and BLACKENED ALUMINUM "COOPER-JARRETT" signs.  dark red flat car with black metal framework.  white lettering.  missing the brake handle.  there is small chip in bottom edge of one trailer above the wheels.  both trailers are missing the front wheels.  disc couplers.  the train car is near mint.  the trailers have minor soiling that can be cleaned.   the metal plates on the trailers are mint.  original box is intact and and complete.  42.00

Lionel 6454.  P.R.R. Lionel 00 Gauge.  NEW YORK CENTRAL 5342 ENGINE & 12 wheel NEW YORK CENTRAL TENDERHUDSON ENGINE 4-6-4.  pre-war 2 rail.   no cracks; no breaks; no dings.  missing the bell and the steam valve.  untested.  the only flaw I note is the wire from the tender has black tape on it.  minor soot - has not been cleaned.  very scarce!  sorry sold

American Flyer FLYER TOWN STATION #96.  O Gauge.  late 1920's to early 1930's issue.  tin lithographed.  removeable green roof.  ticket office; Baggage Room; Waiting Room.  has one OPEN DOOR in center Waiting Room.  Overall approx.  9.5" by 5.5" by 6" tall.  some wear to the roof.  base is dinged in one corner and the base is scratched in opposite corner.  overall the colors are strong and bright. 35.00

American Flyer - 3 cardboard TUNNEL TRESTLE SCENES.   part of set of 4 that came with 1950's "Frontier" set.  There are a total of 3 pieces. Paper litho on heavy gauge cardboard. Colorful mountains and pine trees with water. Each piece is lithographed on both sides. One tunnel. Two are trestle or bridge supports. Each is approx. 20" wide. The tunnel stands approx. 10.5" tall with the other pieces about 9.25" tall. The lithography is strong, colors bright, minor edge wear. The worst wear is at the tunnel entrance, the base. BUT please see photos as there are some dark stains. Still, overall, they are quite decent looking!  hard to find set.   sorry sold

GRAND CENTRAL STATION Marx 1930’s tin litho.  yellow/red/green/black/white.  opening front doors.  green cellophane windows.  both roof marquees and both street reader board signs are intact.  great lithography on all sides of people; Western Union Telegraph Office; Travel Information Bureau; restaurant and ticket office; waiting room; baggage room; buffet!  approx. 11" x 17" x 4.75" tall.  colors are strong and bright.  very good plus to excellent or nicer!   225.00

Marx 9603 DIESEL ELECTRIC TRAIN SET.  set is complete.  Southern Pacific 6000 Engine and Dummy; Pennsylvania 37956 Box Car with sliding doors; Wabash WAB 80982 Hopper; Southern Pacific 1235 Caboose; Transformer; straight track and curves.  circa 1952 issue.  tin lithographed.   the only flaw is that the train "horns" are missing.   train is near mint.  box is complete but is worn.  239.50

Marx 464 AUTOMATIC BLOCK SIGNAL.  1950's.  box is approx. 11" by 3" by 3.5".  The track contact wires have been soldered on - do not think it has been used. Outside of that it is mint with absolutely no flaws. Box is excellent to near mint showing minor shelf wear.  29.50

Marx 421 TWIN LIGHT CROSSING FLASHER.  1950's.  box is approx. .25" by 3" by 3.25".   Does not appear to have been used. No flaws. Box is excellent showing minor shelf wear.  mint with box.  32.50

Marx FLINTSTONE BEDROCK EXPRESS from the Hanna Barbara cartoon series.  1964 tin lithographed windup.  bright full color graphics of Fred; Wilma; Barney; Betty; et al.  works great.  no rust; no dents; no gouges.  includes full color illustrated box.  box is missing end flaps and has damage on one side.  near mint with box.  325.00

Hafner M10000 STREAMLINER PASSENGER TRAIN SET.  green and copper.  O gauge.  1930's.  engine is diecast metal; copper; pressed steel.  strong clockwork motor.  includes the engine; 2 passenger cars and the end car with the streamlined tail. all original.  the copper is bright and shining.  the green paint shows light play wear.  the only flaw that I note is that the "tab" that locks the copper to the rear section of the engine on the right side - is broken off.  not a big problem.  250.00

ARDEE Hard Plastic train set.  Made in USA.  1950's.  5 piece set includes: black engine and tender; green stock car; red tank car; red caboose.  approx. 14.5" long.  the only flaw is set of front wheels broken off one side of tender.  the group for 20.00

LONE STAR TRAINS from England.  000 Gauge.  (non-electric).  diecast metal including the tracks.  this set includes: metallic blue & black locomotive and tender; silver and red passenger car; pair of red and silver passenger cars; 12 pieces of straight track.  all the wheels and couplers are intact.  minimal play wear to the engine.  overall excellent to near mint.  the whole group for one price: 79.50

In the foreground on the main line of the Pennsylvania Railroad between New York and St. Louis a westbound freight is passing an eastbound passenger train. On left, an ore train heads south toward Wheeling, West Virginia. And across the Ohio River, at Steubenville, Ohio, a train of coal moves north past the great steel mills located there. A rather Unusual looking electric car, No. 9310 is a rail grinder, which used to grind down rough spots on streetcar rails in Los Angeles. The barrels held water used in the grinding process. Built in 1925 by the Lo Angeles Railway in their own shops, 9310 is shown here at t he Orange Empire Trolley Museum, white it is on display with many other streetcars and other railway vehicles. Built in 1924 as Chicago; Ottawa and Peoria's #64; its early service was along the Illinois River valley from Joliet to Princeton. In 1934 the car moved to the Illinois Terminal Railroad; was modified for one-man operation and renumbered 415. The Illinois Railway Museum acquired it in 1956. Ektachrome by by W. Cobb #24127-C. This was the railroads 10 YEAR SAFETY Award Pin for employees. This one has a long shank tie pin back with a "locking" cap. This is a legitimate item, not some modern souvenir. older (probably 1930's or earlier) GREAT NORTHERN Railroad lapel pin.   This is a SMALLER SIZED item,   approx. 5/8" across. Manufactured by Green Duck Co. Gold colored metal with cloisonné Dark blue, sky blue, white and gray. (NOTE that the colors in the photo are VERY light so that you can see the lettering - in reality, they are much richer and deeper). Great image of their famous MOUNTAIN GOAT logo! An impressive and early piece. Reads along edge "GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY CLUB". Back is a "screw post". Complete with screw on. This is a legitimate item, not some modern souvenir.
