PHILADELPHIA'S SOUVENIR - ST. LOUIS 1904.  approx. 1.36" diameter celluloid pinback button.  Illustrates The Liberty Bell in center. The paper insert reads "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land; Unto all the Inhabitants Thereof". no foxing; no stains. Guaranteed original. colors are strong. There are a few minor rim splits at the very edge where the celluloid joins the collet on the reverse.  Excellent.  24.50

“McLOUGHLIN DAY” Ribbon from the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition, Portland Oregon, June 1 thru October 15, 1905. This was a ONE day event at the Exposition, Friday, October 6, 1905. It has portrait of Dr. John McLoughlin “Father of Oregon”, and then has a short biographical sketch of him. 2.25” by 8.5”, dark blue on off white.  The item has some wrinkles, as I have not ironed or cleaned it. There are no stains, no holes, no tears.  excellent plus.  40.00

Oddball Lewis and Clark Exposition Ribbon. Reads “1852 Oregon Pioneer Association; “Loyalty to Oregon” is our Motto; Lewis and Clark 1905 Centennial, Not Transferable, June 17, 1903. State Seal of the Territory of Oregon in center. approx. 2.25” by 8”.  The piece is clean, but there are separation splits from age deterioration.  very good.  35.00

1909 AYPE Alaskan Yukon Pacific Exposition - Seattle Washington

SWEDEN.  individually sewn letters on two piece blue & yellow soft felt with applied silk flag.  dark blue border with matching tassels.  tip intact.  35" long.  most likely a souvenir from the 1909 Seattle Alaska Yukon Exposition (obtained from local Seattle estate with a small hoard of AYPE items).  color are strong.  small professional repair done years ago (near base of flag pole - repaired on reverse).  rare!  100.00

bronze medallion.  1909 SEATTLE AYPE.  obverse has the Alaska Pacific Exposition logo.  the reverse has the Seal of the City of Seattle.  1.25" diameter.  excellent.  45.00

ribbon & pinback button.  A.Y.P.E. MICHIGAN.  pink lettering on white celluloid pinback.  1.25" diameter.  has both original ribbons still attached.  pale blue in back.  top ribbon has dark blue lettering on yellow.  clamshell back with ribbons sandwiched between the front and back pieces.  in other words - the ribbons were attached before the pin was assembled.  a VERY scarce piece!  the only flaw is wrinkling to the ribbons.  near mint to mint.  125.00

thermometer.  1909 AYP EXPO SEATTLE decorative wall thermometer.  figural shape of a hatchet.  made of wood the is covered with strips of Mother of Pearl Nacre and has the AYP EXPO SEATTLE script in black.    Hanger hook on end of handle.  5.5" long not counting the hook; 5" wide.  missing small piece of Nacre at the tip of the handle.  displays nicely.  scarce oddball souvenir item!  69.50

Full color linen postcard. THE 14-TON GIANT UNDERWOOD MASTER - Operating Daily - AT THE NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR 1939. Reverse says it is the Largest in the world, and actually works. It required 3 years to build. Each typebar weights 45 pounds and the carriage alone weighs 3500 pounds, etc. Has the #10908 in the center top of backside. Unused. Colors are bright and vivid. Small dings in upper left corner and the lower right corner. Nothing awful. Excellent.  7.50

1962 Seattle World's Fair cardboard SPACE NEEDLE Model.  unused.  never folded.  official name: DIMENSIONAL SPACE NEEDLE.  printed on the roof it reads: SPACE NEEDLE SEATTLE WASHINGTON 1962.  Design by Nerel Inc.  Lithographed in U.S.A. by Fibreboard Paper Products Corp.  full color card stock.  designed to be mailed as giant self sealed letter or postcard (postage rate 6 cents!).  the ends would fold over and could then seal the whole package shut.  12 pieces including the wooden space needle antenna which is included.  full step by step instructions included.  also has a whole page of "Interesting Facts About the Space Needle".  When assembled the items will stand approx. 15" tall plus the antenna.  the whole item in unassembled format is 17" by 9.5" unopened.  4 fold opens much larger.  you are purchasing the mint never used one.  I have included photos of what it looks like assembled  in case you want to assemble this one.  I have NEVER seen this item before.  REMEMBER  your are purchasing the mint one and NOT the assembled one.  This is NOT a common or easy item to find.  28.50

Scarce hard to find CANADA CENTURY 21 EXPOSITION SEATTLE USA 1962 booklet.  Overall, it measures approx. 8" by 9".  20 pages counting covers.  Sections are titled: Canadian Science and Industry Serve Mankind; Milestone in Canadian Research; Canadian Mapping; Canada's North; Transportation; Atomic Energy; Medicine; Research Into the Upper Atmosphere; Electronics; Scientific Research in Canada.  Photo illustrated.  Interior is tight and clean.
