Book. HAPPY LITTLE FOLKS. "A Collection of Stories for Children". Estes and Lauriat Publishers. Boston, 1886. The covers were lithographed by Armstrong & Co. of Boston. The cover is a full color hockey scene. Note the early, one piece curved stick he is carrying. The back cover shows a youngster carrying the same style stick in the background. The stories are NOT hockey related. There is spine damage. The back cover is separate from the spine. Interior pages are intact and clean, but brittle. To the best of my knowledge; this is the earliest Hockey book printed. Nice color; killer display piece. Yes the condition of the book is a bit rough; but the parts that you will be displaying are very nice. This is the ONLY copy of this book that I have ever seen offered! 200.00
