1963 ALABAMA and AUBURN football schedule glass ashtray. Glass ashtray from Burnett Sales Co. of Birmingham Alabama. Reverse printed on glass bottom in red and blue are the 1963 complete football schedules of the ALABAMA "CRIMSON TIDE" on the left in red and the AUBURN "TIGERS" on the right in blue. 4.5" diameter and just shy of 1.25" tall. No cracks, no chips, no nicks, no defects except the print quality is a little weak on the blue side. A scarce and interesting piece! Great item if you collect skeds, or just ALABAMA or AUBURN stuff! 39.50

May also have served as a pencil or pen holder. there is small indentation on the far left side, that does support a sharpened pencil on the incline? Large, heavy and impressive. 7" tall, 5.75" wide by 2.25" deep. Beautiful full color football postcard from 1908, titled TOUCHDOWN. It shows someone being tackled right as he crosses the goal line. Note the Nose guard and early style helmet on the tackler.
