IN ACTION….IN ONE PICTURE!"  The posters are for Jesse James; Frank James; Bob Dalton; Bill Dalton; Grat Dalton; Belle Starr; Hank McGee; Sam Bass. There are water stains in both bottom corners. The one in the bottom right is minor; and does not affect anything except for the white border. Overall clean - displays very nicely.  very good or better.  30.00

Ken Murray's BILL AND COO Title Lobby Card #1starring BURTON'S LOVE BIRDS and CURLEY TWIFORD'S JIMMY THE CROW.  1947 Republic Pictures.  The only all Avian Film.  "Reviewing Bill and Coo for a major magazine, an otherwise restrained critic was moved to describe the film as "by conservative estimate, the God-damnedest thing I've ever seen." Conceived by producer/comedian Ken Murray as a showcase for George Burton's trained birds, who'd previously been featured in Murray's long-running Los Angeles stage review Blackouts, the film is set in the mythical all-bird community of Chippendale. The characters -- hero, heroine, villain -- are all birds, displaying the most human of emotions and impulses. When the romance between lovebirds Bill and Coo is threatened by the evil Jimmy the Crow, all Heck breaks loose, culminating in Bill's rescue of Coo from a burning building. As a bonus, the feathered featured players sing, dance and play musical instruments! The winner of a special Academy Award, Bill and Coo was later reissued with a new introduction by the enterprising Ken Murray."  unused.  near mint to mint.  75.00

BLACK GOLD lobby card Anthony Quinn holding rifle.  drama.  1947.  Allied Artists Productions.   stars: Anthony Quinn with Katherine De Mille; Elyse Knox; Ducky Louie; Kane Richmond; Moroni Olsen.   Quinn and his wife Katherine, DeMille's adopted daughter and a talented actress in her own right, starred together in BLACK GOLD (1947), a low-budget sleeper released by Allied Artists. Playing a proud but kindly Indian who discovers oil on his property and allows a Chinese refugee to race his prize thoroughbred, Quinn delivered a warm, heartfelt performance that ranks among his best.  unused.  no holes.  very minor bumper to upper left corner tip.  near mint or nicer.  19.50

About the goings on in an upper-crust apartment building. Heflin, a Broadway producer, is suspected of killing Garner when she turns up dead in his apartment. Raft is on the scene to clear it all up.  near mint.  18.00

A German girl joins a carnival and becomes a high-wire star, capturing the hearts of two circus performers who vie for her attention. Color scene of high diver on the way down!  There is a tear along right side border - see fine white line in photo. Has not been taped - very minor distraction.  excellent plus.   14.00

Lobby card #7 from CAPTAIN SCARLETT. 1952, United Artists.  Photo of Richard Green in the lower left. Large color photo of man having his head placed into the guillotine! Richard Greene stars in this swashbuckler. Greene plays the title character, a Gallic Robin Hood, who seeks to reclaim his birthright from the usurping Duke of Corlaine (Manolo Fabregas). Forming a group of sort-of-merry men, Captain Scarlett rallies the countryside to take up arms against the despotic duke. In addition, he saves Princess Maria (Leonora Amar) from various fates worse than death at the hands of lecherous Count Villiers (Eduardo Norriega).  near mint to mint.  20.00

DARK CITY Lobby Card #1 - Charlton Heston backhanding someone.  Film Noir.  1950 Paramount.  Starring Charlton Heston; Lizabeth Scott; Jack Webb; Henry Morgan; Ed Begley Sr.; Don DeFore.  Though he had previously appeared in David Bradley's film adaptation of Julius Caesar, Dark City marked Charlton Heston's first role in a major Hollywood production.  A group of hustlers take a man for $5000 in a poker game. When the man ends up killing himself, the heat is put on the gamblers in the game. The dead man's vengeful brother begins picking off the gamblers one by one.  unused.  near mint to mint.  30.00

The film poses several intriguing questions regarded the methods by which various forms of sea life communicate with one another. As narrator Les Tremayne comments on the action, the audience sees the effect that human-engendered sounds have on barracuda, groupers and the like.
